Our dedicated climate justice team is working on the local, state, and federal level on policies that will increase green energy and create a sustainable economy for our communities that doesn’t rely on extractive industries. CCP and our partners are committed to including communities across our state in conversations about climate justice to ensure that voices from across New Mexico are heard in the decision making process.
NM Prospera
Nuevo Mexico Prospera is a coalition of grassroots economic, social and environmental justice organizations from around the state working to diversify the state’s economy while creating thousands of jobs for communities most impacted by climate change. We believe communities and frontline workers who are disproportionately affected by climate change should lead the just transition to a sustainable economy that provides good paying jobs while protecting our water, air, and land.
Power 4 NM
At Power 4 NM, we believe that by growing community power and amplifying community voices to inform NM’s energy transition and push the state’s decision makers to commit to bold actions on climate, we will be able shape a clean and prosperous present and future led by frontline communities. This will allow us to empower everyday New Mexicans to be part of the emerging regenerative economy.
